Now that the Golden State Warriors have finally dropped a game without Stephen Curry, they may start rethinking whether sitting the MVP the entire series is the best strategy.

The Houston Rockets trimmed their series deficit to 2-1 following a 97-96 victory over the Warriors in Game 3. While the Rockets' victory was impressive, it did occur without Curry, who missed his second straight game due to an injured ankle.

With Game 4 not taking place until Sunday afternoon, the league's reigning MVP believes he'll be ready to go by that time:

While many thought Golden State could handle Houston without Curry, the stats from Game 3 paint a different story. The Warriors converted on just 24 percent of their three-point attempts and 43 percent of their field goals without their MVP.

If Curry is close to 100 percent by Sunday, it may be wise for the Warriors to play him rather than risk going back to Oracle Arena with the series tied at two-all.
