As the start of the next free agency nears, a lot of rumors are already starting to emerge for a number of NBA teams. The Golden State Warriors are one of them, as there are some players being linked to them as early as now, including LeBron James recently, who could entertain a pitch from Golden State's front office executives if they'll be able to create room for a max contract.
However, the team's general manager, Bob Myers, revealed that their top priority this summer is to maintain continuity and not disrupt the cohesiveness of the team, according to Mark Medina of The Mercury News.
Key Bob Myers quote on overall framework of Warriors' thinking heading into trade deadline + offseason: "The cohesiveness of our team matters to us and the continuity matters to us."

Despite already having four stars on their team, the Warriors could still feel that they can snag another big name free agent this summer. That will take a lot of maneuvering with the payroll, but if there's any team that can pull it off, it will be the defending champions.
Proof of this was when Kevin Durant agreed to take his talents to Oakland and their top brass had to be creative in making room for him. They did just that, and they won their second championship in three years last season, and just as they say — the rest is history.
It remains to be seen if the Warriors will opt to add more key pieces to their already-formidable roster. One thing certain though is they will still be busy in making some moves in order to make their next few seasons more flexible, especially with a number of their players slated to become free agents by then.
