Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors still couldn't find their way out of a dark tunnel, as they suffered their fourth loss in a row Wednesday night at home, absorbing a 107-103 defeat at the hands of Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns.  While dropping a winnable game surely hurts for the Warriors, Draymond Green is still seeing the glass half full.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic:

“We don’t do moral victories around here,” Draymond Green said. “We’ve won way too much to have moral victories. But tonight we found ourselves. We found our competitive spirit. We found our defense. It’s something we can build on.”

Green finished the game with just eight points but collected 10 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and three blocks in 31 minutes. He was everywhere on the floor and constantly making a positive impact for the Warriors, who now keep a 48-29 record. The do-it-all forward must also be happy with the way he contained Deandre Ayton. The Suns' big man scored 16 points but was 7/17 from the field and took just one trip to the foul line. Plus, Ayton turned the ball over five times. Green helped make Ayton uncomfortable all game long, which should make the latter wary if the Warriors and the Suns cross paths again in the playoffs.

The Warriors will look to end their losing streak this coming Saturday at home versus the visiting Utah Jazz.
