In the final two minutes of the close game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors on Monday, forward Draymond Green got away with a clear traveling violation, leading to his critical basket.

Green made a strong cut to the basket but was met by Montrezl Harrell. After receiving the ball from Stephen Curry, Green lifted his pivot as he made an awkward-looking left-handed shot. The Lakers saw the play right in front of their eyes and quickly complained to the referees. But no whistle was blown.

Green's crucial bucket gave the Warriors a four-point lead with just 1:39 remaining in the final period, but he definitely got away with a no-call. The Warriors eventually eked out a come-from-behind 115-113 victory to snap a two-game skid. The Lakers, meanwhile, suffered their fourth loss in 15 games.

The 30-year-old Green finished with seven points, eight rebounds, and nine assists in another solid all-around stint.

It wasn't the best shooting night for Curry but he still came away with 26 points on 8-of-22 shooting from the field, including 3-of-12 from downtown. He also knocked down a tough three-pointer with a little over a minute remaining to give the Warriors a comfortable five-point cushion. Kelly Oubre Jr. chipped in a season-high 23 markers.

Draymond Green and the rest of the boys from The Bay will head back home to face the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
