In the midst of earlier reports from ESPN's Chris Haynes, suggesting LeBron James would listen to a max-offer pitch from the Golden State Warriors this upcoming summer, Kevin Durant wasn't sold on the news.
The Warriors forward called “bulls**t” as soon as he was asked the first question, according to Logan Murdock of the San Jose Mercury News.
“Bulls**t,” said Durant laughing. “In this league, y'know, a couple of years ago, me coming here — nobody would've thought that.”
“So that's just me as a basketball player, let's just worry about basketball and then on the other side, we know there's a business as well and a lot of crazy things have happened since I've been in the league.”

Durant's move to the Bay Area was the lone acquisition that shook the entire league last season, but to fathom three of the best five players in the league in the same team is a mind-boggling thought to think about.
The initial report said James would consider the Warriors if they came with a max offer, but to do so, the organization would have to make several moves (likely starting this trade deadline) and jeopardize their chances at a postseason run, only to hope James would choose to sign.
James would of course listen, like any pro would to any organization with money on hand, but the instance is so unlikely, that is just makes for more chatter than actual factual events. Durant and company are sitting pretty with the best record in the league, even after a 30-point loss to the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
