There is no doubt that Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry will go down in history as one of the greatest to ever play the game. Nevertheless, the former back-to-back MVP was himself a bit of a late bloomer, who unlike his rookie teammate James Wiseman, is already navigating life in the NBA at the age of 19.
When asked about how he would compare himself to Wiseman when he was the same age, Curry hilariously admitted that at that point in his life, his mind was preoccupied with other things (h/t ESPN on Twitter):
"I was searching for frat parties at Davidson [at age 19]."

To be fair, it's not as if Curry was partying every night when he was 19. As he relayed in the interview, his college team, Davidson, had just lost in the NCAA tournament at that time, and his way to blow off a bit of steam was by indulging in a couple of frat parties. The same cannot be said about Wiseman, who right now, is already a full-blown rising star in the NBA at age 19.
Curry provided some outstanding advice for his young teammate, reminding him to just “embrace the process.” We're pretty sure that as the team's talisman, Steph is more than willing to impart knowledge on Wiseman and the rest of the Warriors' youngsters — something that will certainly aid in their development as professionals.
As for his basketball, Curry made a triumphant return to action on Monday following a rather extended spell on the sidelines due to a tailbone injury. Steph led the Dubs to a 116-102 win over the Chicago Bulls in his first game back, as the greatest shooter of all time picked up right where he left off prior to the injury layoff.
