Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has dealt with the frustration after constant injuries to his surgically-repaired right ankle over the course of this season. The latest has had him sidelined for the last three games and the next four to come until he is re-evaluated.
“Honestly it sucks that it is my ankle and I've been through this countless times, but I feel very confident into the approach that we're taking to getting as close to 100 percent as possible,” said Curry, who turned 30 today. “…At this point we all can prioritize health and understand that we all need to be ready to go with 11 or 8 games to go in the season, whatever that number is.”

This “11 or 8 games” is Curry's estimation for not only his return, but Klay Thompson's, who has a fractured right thumb and is expected to be re-evaluated at the same point as he is next week.

Curry mentioned that the morale of the team has been high despite having multiple players nursing injuries, and that it wasn't out of the question to still be able to get the No. 1 seed in the West, per Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News.
The injuries will sure have an effect on this team, but the Warriors had won seven straight before the injuries started to pile up.
This stretch will allow for Kerr to tinker with different lineups and get guys ready for the postseason, still having the easiest remaining schedule in the league, only two games behind the Houston Rockets and 10 games over the third-place Portland Trail Blazers.
