Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry suffered a bit of a knock on Friday night as the Dubs destroyed the Chicago Bulls, 138-96. The former back-to-back MVP fell hard on his right hand during the game, and it now appears that he's going to spend some time on the shelf because of the injury.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Curry is set to miss Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves:
Steph Curry is out tomorrow against the Timberwolves with right hand soreness. Fell on it hard yesterday in Chicago.

The injury does not sound serious and this could be a precautionary move by the Warriors. Then again, Curry has been struggling to shoot the ball of late, so maybe it is possible that he has been dealing with soreness on his shooting hand for some time now. Steph could have aggravated the issue on Friday against the Bulls and the Dubs are now erring on the side of caution by giving him the night off on Sunday.
Curry shot the ball better on Friday, though, going 7-of-15 from the field and 4-of-10 from distance for 19 points. The seven-time All-Star managed just 28 minutes in the game, but his limited run was also because the Warriors had this game in the bag as early as halftime.
This was a big W for Golden State following back-to-back losses to the Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks. As of Saturday afternoon, the 31-11 Dubs are still 1.5 games behind the Phoenix Suns for the top spot in the West.
