Stephen Curry let everyone hear it after he locked down Ja Morant during crunch time in the Golden State Warriors' Game 1 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.

With the Warriors up 117-116 and just a little over 20 seconds remaining on the clock, Morant attacked the basket for what could have been the game-winning shot for the Grizzlies. However, Curry was waiting near the rim and made sure to stop the superstar guard from giving Memphis the lead with a clutch block that led to a steal.

Sure enough, Stephen Curry was hyped about his huge defense. He even had some stern message for Ja Morant and the Grizzlies that he shouted to the Warriors' bench following the play.

“Locked that shit up, boy. I locked that shit up,” Curry said, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

For what it's worth, Curry's message was probably his response to Morant after the Grizzlies star earlier screamed that Jonathan Kuminga can't guard him. It was after Ja delivered a floater at the buzzer in the face of the Dubs rookie.

Curry got the revenge for his teammate, and it couldn't get any better as it came in a clutch situation and allowed them to take the victory for the 1-0 series lead. While the Warriors got quite the scare when Klay Thompson missed two free throws near the end, they showed their championship resilience and held on.
