There is no doubt that Stephen Curry is already considered as the greatest shooter of all time. The Golden State Warriors superstar point guard has already racked up numerous three-point records throughout his career.
With 9 triples on Friday night, Curry now has 43 games this season with 5 or more three-pointers, tying the mark he set in his unreal 2015-16 MVP campaign.

It is worth noting that Curry played 79 games in 2015-16, compared to the 67 he has played so far this season. With three games remaining on their schedule, the two-time MVP can still possibly break his record. However, it is highly likely that head coach Steve Kerr will rest some of his main stars in those final three games, including Curry.

He is set to average over 5 three-pointers this season, a mark that he last did in 2015-16. And despite not shooting as efficiently as he did in his second MVP yeae, Curry has been as assertive this season, shooting around 20 field goal attempts per game, and firing away nearly 12 three-point attempts per contest.
Curry finished the night with 40 points, shootinf 12-of-21 from the field. He also added six rebounds and seven assists to help the Warriors take care of the Cleveland Cavaliers at home.
Golden State is rolling heading into the post-season, notching their fourth consecutive win. This marked Golden State's 55th victory of the season. They are now closing in on securing the number one seed and homecourt advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs.
For arguably the fifth consecutive year, the Warriors are once again heading into the playoffs as heavy favorites to lift the Larry O'Brien trophy in June.
