Since the Golden State Warriors cruised through the playoffs onto their second NBA title in the last three seasons.

This has created a huge response across the Western Conference with several teams making moves to bolster their roster to better compete with the Warriors. It's something that has caught the attention of two-time league MVP Stephen Curry, according to Ron Kroichick of SFGate.com.

“You look around the Western Conference, and the amount of  talent up and down the board is going to be crazy,” Curry said. “… Everybody is trying to make moves to become championship contenders. Before our first Finals appearance, we were doing the same thing — trying to load up and put together the right combination of guys to take our team to the next level.”

There have been several Eastern Conference All-Stars move West such as Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Paul Millsap to the Denver Nuggets. Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets were able to acquire Chris Paul.

These moves were made in direct correlation to Golden State because they are now the standard bearers in the NBA. It's not just the Western Conference, but the entire league is aiming to up end their reign next season.

What these moves do more than anything else is create a much greater sense of competition in the West to where a potential challenger could arise to legitimately push the Warriors to their limit.
