To beat the first quarter buzzer, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry threw up a shot from the opponent's 3-point line.
With little time left, Curry had no choice but to throw up a shot from way over the half court. Good thing is he's Stephen Curry — the greatest shooter of all time.

Did he call glass or not? It doesn't really matter. The shot still counted for three points. The two-time MVP quickly ran to his teammates to celebrate and pump themselves up. Imagine how many times his Golden State teammates have seen him drain those types of shots in practice.

According to Warriors PR, per Basketball-Reference, the shot was Stephen Curry's first 60-foot field goal in the regular season and his third from 50 feet or more overall. Curry also drained a 60-footer way back on May 15, 2015, against the Memphis Grizzlies during the playoffs.
Per @bball_ref shot finder, that was the first 60-foot field goal Stephen Curry has made in the regular season (third 50-footer in the regular season). He also hit a 62-footer in the postseason on May 15, 2015 at Memphis. https://t.co/4SSmlLcLRn

Everyone knows Stephen Curry is the greatest marksman of all time. In the first quarter, Curry struggled to make his shots and went 2-of-9, but it didn't stop him from throwing up a low-percentage shot. Being the shooter that he is, the mentality is to throw it up — no matter how far — and you'll have a chance.
