Towns currently has two more years remaining on his deal, which will see him pocket roughly $70 million over the course of the next couple of seasons. His supermax deal, however, kicks in during the 2024-25 season, wherein he's going to get a significant pay rise. This comes out to the tune of around $60 million per season.
That's a whole lot of money, but there's no denying that KAT has earned it. The Timberwolves have practically committed their entire future to their superstar big man, and you can't say that this was a questionable decision. Towns has emerged as one of the top centers in the game today, and at 26, it feels like he's just entering his prime.
