The Minnesota Timberwolves are listing big man Karl-Anthony Towns as questionable to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
Towns hurt his knee last Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers after going for a monster poster dunk over Montrezl Harrell.

The Timberwolves are 10-15 on the season. They have lost seven games in a row and are hungry to get a win. The good news? The Pelicans have lost 12 straight, so Minnesota will be favored to defeat New Orleans on Wednesday.
Article Continues BelowTowns is averaging 26.5 points, 11.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season. He’s shooting 51.4 percent from the field, 41.8 percent from beyond the arc and 79.6 percent from the free-throw line.
For the Timberwolves to reach the playoffs in the rugged Western Conference, they not only need Towns to be healthy, but another dynamic scorer next to KAT and Andrew Wiggins would help. Minnesota remains interested in acquiring All-Star point guard D’Angelo Russell from the Golden State Warriors despite what transpired this past summer, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.
However, it doesn’t appear the Warriors are interested in moving Russell, so the Timberwolves will either have to move forward with their current roster or find another player to target via trade.
