The Philadelphia 76ers are seriously lacking in energy, and on Friday night they're hoping to take down the surging Memphis Grizzlies at home and stop a four-game losing streak. This play could help, with All-Star Sixers point-forward Ben Simmons taking possession away from Grizzlies rookie phenom point guard Ja Morant, who was looking in the wrong direction while dribbling in the corner leading to a steal and dunk by the 23-year-old Australian (via Bleacher Report).

Simmons and the Sixers have been the focus of an undercurrent in the locker room as the Eastern Conference hopeful faces its toughness challenges midseason: a losing streak and complacency. Philly is sixth in the east this season after falling to the eventual-champion Toronto Raptors in the conference semi-finals last year in seven games.

In short, things need to change for All-Stars Simmons and center Joel Embiid, who can expect reinforcements in wings Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks—two trade-deadline pick-ups acquired via the Golden State Warriors.
