The NFL Week 12 injury roundup includes a trio of Browns starters — quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, defensive end Myles Garrett, and wide receiver Amari Cooper — all went down in their loss to the Denver Broncos. Elsewhere in the league, there were some other big injuries, although this NFL Week 12 injury roundup doesn’t include some of the headline names that the past few weeks have.

Browns DE Myles Garrett

The Browns suffered several key injuries, adding to their woes after losing QB Deshaun Watson for the season. Defensive Player of the Year candidate Myles Garrett is the biggest worry, as he left the game with a shoulder injury and told reporters he felt “something pop,” per Cleveland.com’s Mary-Kay Cabot.

Garrett will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the damage.

Browns QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson

Rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who replaced Watson, left the game on Sunday after getting crushed by Broncos linebacker Baron Browning.

DTR left with a head injury, which likely means he will be in concussion protocol this week, making his status for the Browns Week 13 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams uncertain. This means PJ Walker could be the starter next Sunday.

Browns WR Amari Cooper

Finally, wideout Amari Cooper also suffered a vicious blow at the hands of the Broncos defense. Safety PJ Locke smashed the WR on an overthrown ball.

Cooper left the game with a rib injury and did not return, although head coach Kevin Stefanski shared after the game that x-rays were negative.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave

Star WR Chris Olave had an incredible game in just one half. The second-year sensation had seven catches for 114 yards before exiting the Saints' Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons with a head injury. He will now likely go into concussion protocol and his status will be up in the air for the team’s Week 13 matchup with the Detroit Lions.

New England Patriots WR Demario Douglas

Patriots rookie WR Demario Douglas exited the team’s loss to the New York Giants with a head injury and did not return. However, after the game, Bill Belichick said that after further evaluation, Douglas is OK and will not enter the NFL’s concussion protocol. So, barring any further updates, he should be good to go when the Pats take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13.

Carolina Panthers WR Laviska Shenault

The NFL Week 12 injury roundup is a tough one for wide receivers, as the Jaguars’ Laviska Shenault also picked up an injury in his team’s win over the Houston Texans. The WR missed Weeks 8, 9, and 10 with an ankle injury and seemed to re-aggravate the issue in this last game. While no updates are available as of Monday afternoon (ET), the fact that this is a lingering issue could put his Week 13 status into question.

Houston Texans OG Tytus Howard

The Texans’ excellent offensive line took a hit on Sunday as guard Tytus Howard went out with a knee injury in the first quarter and didn’t return. The key CJ Stroud protector already missed the first four games of the season with a broken hand, so missing more time would be tough as the team went 2-2 in his absence.

Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox

The Eagles may have won the NFL game of the season so far against the Buffalo Bills but they suffered a big loss as start DT Fletcher Cox left the game with a groin injury and did not return. As of Monday afternoon, there was no update on his status for next week’s huge San Franciso 49ers matchup.

Other notable NFL Week 12 injuries
