“I’m always open for whatever,” Holmes said in an interview with NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero. “We’re still in the early stages of it. We’ve got a good feel of the class. We’re in a much better place in this stage of the process than we were last year. But still, we’ve got a lot more work to do. But I’m never scared to move around, so we’re definitely open for business — always.”

Holmes said he's open for “whatever.” The Lions general manager seems like he doesn't love any player enough to hold onto the no. 2 pick, which could give Detroit an advantage if they want to try to use their lucrative 2022 NFL Draft choice to trade for a couple extra picks. He's also seemingly open to holding onto the pick.

The Lions seem to have the right coach in Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes seems to have the right outlook ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft. Things may be looking up in Detroit.
