For those who are not old enough to get what Tate was referencing to, the “What you talking about Willis?” line was a favorite quip of Gary Coleman’s character in Diff'rent Strokes, an NBC sitcom that ran from 1978 to 1985.

The 30-year-old Tate is an integral part of the Lions’ offense, but he’s also set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season, so Detroit has a reason to entertain and field trade offers for the veteran wide receivers from other teams. On the season, Tate has 517 receiving yards and three touchdown grabs on 44 receptions.
