Aaron Rodgers further cemented his name among the NFL's best quarterbacks of all time by winning his fourth MVP award. The Green Bay Packers legend now trails only Peyton Manning for the most career MVP awards and becomes the first back-to-back MVP since Manning, who won in 2008 and 2009.
Rodgers expressed gratitude to the Green Bay front office and fans as he accepted the award. He took to Instagram to send another heartfelt message afterward. It reads somewhat like a goodbye post, as he mentions his “17 years worth of incredible memories and lifelong friendships”, which refers to how long he has been a Packer.

While Packers fans are assumably happy that Rodgers won another MVP, they are also now worrisome of what is to come. The end of this season. may have marked the end of his time in Green Bay. Teams like the Denver Broncos will put the pressure to lure Rodgers away from his longtime home.
Rodgers' departure would have a massive domino effect on the franchise, as other key free agents like Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Robert Tonyan will likely leave. Losing Rodgers means losing a whole offense, as the guys who caught passes for him may not have a great desire to do the same for Jordan Love unless the Packers pay them handsomely.
While the real player movement won't occur for a little bit longer, it feels like Rodgers' time with the Packers is all but over. Although his sentiments for the front office and head coach Matt LaFleur were positive, the four-time MVP may be out the door.
