With the recent news that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants a deal in the $50 million per year range, the critics are coming out of the woodwork.
Aaron Rodgers was recently called out by his former Packers teammate, wide receiver Greg Jennings, over claims that he was “selfish” during their time together. Jennings spent seven seasons in Green Bay, five of which were with Rodgers as his starting QB:
“Aaron Rodgers has been a very selfish guy,” said Jennings, when talking about the contract report. “I get it, he’s at the end of his career, and so it’s like, ‘Okay, I’m going to take whatever I can take.’ But you can’t do that and want to win.”
Jennings harped on Rodgers allegedly talking him out of requesting more money for himself for the sake of the team, something he is reportedly not planning to do should he stick around in Green Bay.

But @GregJennings, you were that guy. https://t.co/5Q17AoQ4gY

Sounds like the Green Bay Packers‘ internal strife had been going on since a decade prior. With Aaron Rodgers' future still up in the air, it's unlikely this will be the last of his former teammates weighing in with some spicy takes.
