The news surrounding the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers just won't go away as more speculation arises each day. On Monday, Packers superstar wide receiver Davante Adams sent a cryptic message via Twitter. It caused a stir amongst social media, as no one is completely sure what he is referencing.
Gotta appreciate what u got while ya got it!

He could be talking about the potential of Rodgers not being a Packer anymore, or he could be talking about a different subject altogether. Either way, Aaron Rodgers hasn't said much publicly about the situation, but he did hit the like button on Adams's tweet, via NBC Sports.
Social media has become a useful tool for professional athletes to express their thoughts. Utilizing cryptic messages like these allow for some players to get away with it, as “sometimes, players fully intend for those general remarks to send a specific message, while also being able to later say that that they were doing no such thing — even if they were,” according to NBC Sports.
The Packers' front office and coaching staff seem adamant about keeping Aaron Rodgers around for now. He is still under contract with the team for three years but is wanting to re-negotiate his contract to earn more guaranteed money.
Green Bay is playing hardball with the situation for now. However, June 1st is the date to pay attention to, as anytime after that date, a trade will not hurt Green Bay financially. This is an ongoing saga that is sure to have more cryptic messages throughout the offseason.
