Odell Beckham was released by the Cleveland Browns on Monday. He's officially on waivers and is a free agent for the first time in his career. He says the Green Bay Packers are one of the three teams he's interested in.
Beckham left after a sticky situation in Cleveland. Beckham was not happy with the number of targets he was receiving. He was also frustrated when he was being targeted because the passes were either thrown into coverage or they were bad passes. Things got even worse when Beckham's father got into it and created a lengthy video for the internet to see. The video pointed out all the times Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield missed his son.
The Packers have been one of the teams that Odell has made it clear he wants to go to. Now it seems that the Packers want him also. Green Bay Star Davante Adams reached out to try to get Beckham to come to the Packers.
Davante Adams said that he and Beckham have talked,

It's clear that the Packers want him and the players in the organization, too.
Giving Beckham a quarterback as skilled as Aaron Rodgers could be must-see TV. Rodgers is arguably the greatest quarterback of all time and at one point in Beckham's career, he was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. It's going to be an interesting few days as Odell makes his decision. If the Packers do end up getting Beckham, they will have an even better chance at winning a Superbowl.
