Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari played in just one game last season due to a knee injury. But, it appears his health is trending upward ahead of OTA's, which is a good sign for 2022.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was pleased to see Bakhtiari dancing at his wedding recently, which certainly looked like a positive sign in regards to his health.
#Packers coach Matt LaFleur jokes that it was good to see LT David Bakhtiari dancing at his wedding. But seriously… “David looked good dancing, I can’t wait to see him at OTAs.”

Initially, he was expected to be back last November, but there was fluid buildup in his knee. That resulted in another cleanup surgery. The Packers star tore his ACL in January of 2021 and also sustained damage to his meniscus. Bakhtiari played in Week 18 against the Detroit Lions and took 27 snaps, but he once again felt discomfort and fluid buildup. It ultimately prevented him from suiting up in the playoffs against the San Francisco 49ers.
Nevertheless, he's finally on his way to full strength, which is huge for Green Bay. After all, Bakhtiari is a three-time Pro Bowler and one of the best tackles in the NFL. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will be pleased to know he's protecting him again, too. After playing just 12 games in 2020, David Bakhtiari will be looking to have a completely injury-free campaign in 22′.
