The Green Bay Packers are claiming Indianapolis Colts running back Keith Ford off waivers, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In a corresponding move, the Packers are waiving injured offensive tackle Jason Spriggs.

Ford, 25, has been a journeyman running back in his brief, two-year NFL tenure. He was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2018 by the Buffalo Bills. He appeared in two games in December after getting a promotion from the practice squad due to an injury to LeSean McCoy. Ford was waived from the Bills in May of this year.

The Colts brought in Ford, who spent his collegiate career at Oklahoma and then transferred to Texas A&M. Indianapolis acquired Ford before training camp in July, but eventually dropped him one week later for Green Bay to pick up.

Ford recorded 21 rush attempts for 79 yards along with three receptions in his two appearances in the 2018 season for Buffalo.

Spriggs, meanwhile, is a former second-round pick by the Packers from the 2016 draft. He spent his four-year NCAA career with Indiana. He was on the All-American First Team in his senior year with the Hoosiers.

At 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds, the 25-year-old tackle started in 36 games for the Packers across three seasons. He competed in seven games in his second NFL season, with Spriggs' 2017 hampered by a hamstring injury. After appearing in every game for the Packers in his rookie season, Spriggs played just 20 out of 32 games the last two years.

Should Spriggs go unclaimed, he would be placed on the Pack's injury reserve list.
