The Green Bay Packers officially signed a deal with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had a hefty price tag following the 2021-2022 NFL season, and the Packers finally found the money to pay the price on Tuesday.
Much like Rodgers', the future of Davante Adams was also up in the air. However, it sounds like the star wide receiver is sticking with his quarterback in Green Bay. NFL insider Ian Rapoport tweeted the news Tuesday morning.

Rodgers' new deal includes a 4-year, $200 million contract with $153 million guaranteed and a decreased cap number. The deal cleared up new cap room, which is enough to franchise tag Adams.
As a free agent, Adams was considering leaving Green Bay if Rodgers was employed elsewhere this offseason. Now, the wide receiver is expected to get the franchise tag. This means that he will be an unrestricted free agent and will be guaranteed another year under contract with the Packers.
This is huge news for the Packers offense, which dominated under the dynamic duo of Adams and Rodgers. Adams led the team in receptions with 123 catches for 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns in the regular season. The 29-year-old also recorded nine receptions for 90 yards in the Packers' postseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Meanwhile, Rodgers earned his fourth MVP title in the regular season and threw 531 passes for 4,115 yards and 37 touchdowns. The franchise quarterback threw 29 completions for 225 yards in the postseason loss.
