The Green Bay Packers lost in shocking fashion against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Despite the loss, Matt LaFleur discussed why he expects Green Bay to bounce back.

Before Sunday's game, the Packers were rolling with four straight wins and they seemed to be unstoppable with Aaron Rodgers heating up. Then, in Week 9, Green Bay didn't have any answers for the Chargers' pass rush and their rushing attack.

As a result, the Packers lost 26-11 and the team lost their first game in the past five weeks. Nevertheless, Matt LaFleur is extremely confident that his team will step up and learn from their loss on Sunday.

Above all, the first-year head coach pointed to the players within the locker room on why he believes that the Packers will recover. There's no doubt that Rodgers—and the other veterans—will begin to exude their leadership a bit more to avoid a two-game losing streak.

After Sunday's defeat, Rodgers took to the podium and said that Green Bay was served a ‘slice of humble pie'. Rodgers is in his 15th season in the NFL and understands that the team has to play together to be successful over the course of a 16-game season.

Luckily for the Packers, the other three teams in the NFC North also suffered defeat in Week 9. Most importantly, the Minnesota Vikings were defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to allow the Packers to hold onto their one-game lead over their division rivals.

The Packers will get a chance to avenge their loss at home against the Carolina Panthers in Week 10. In the event that Green Bay falls to the Panthers, then there could be a different tone from LaFleur in the locker room.
