Of course, the Packers would have to actually agree to trade their superstar signal-caller. On Wednesday, GM Brian Gutekunst revealed that he sat down with Rodgers last offseason and promised they would figure something out this offseason, but he never gave any indication that he would trade Rodgers. Not surprising because why would Green Bay want to give up their MVP QB.

The Denver Broncos have been rumored to be one team who are interested in Rodgers, while the Pittsburgh Steelers are a possibility as well given their grim quarterback situation following the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger. Also, his decision to either stay or leave the Packers will be based on Davante Adams' future at Lambeau as well. The wideout has yet to even speak to Green Bay about an extension, but they can use the franchise tag on him. Gutekunst however said he rather not and even opened up to the fact that Adams could leave in free agency. If that happened, it's hard to imagine Rodgers staying with the Packers as well.
