The Jacksonville Jaguars notably went from first to worst in the AFC South standings. After reaching the postseason and nearly the Super Bowl back in 2017, the Jaguars encountered quite the tumultuous campaign as a result of the 2018 season.
Nonetheless, it does not appear as though Jacksonville is too far off from returning to form with a few glaring needs still needing to be addressed this offseason.
Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown
Despite the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars have yet to be linked to current Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, it is no secret that pretty much every team in the NFL will at least consider adding the services of the All-Pro pass catcher this offseason — and the struggling AFC South franchise should be no different.
With the Steelers primed to ship Brown out of Pittsburgh sooner rather than later, the Jaguars should be all in on acquiring the veteran wide out.
The Jaguars seem to have a quarterback in mind in former Philadelphia Eagles signal-caller Nick Foles while adding a prolific wide receiver could only aid the team's offensive attack going forward. Jacksonville has very few threats for Foles to work with, especially threats down the field — something that Brown is known for.
If the Jaguars want to speed up the turnaround process, adding Brown is a must.
New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard
While the New York Giants are often linked to a potential trade involving wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., it is actually another “G-Men” wideout that the Jacksonville Jaguars should target this offseason. Even if the Jaguars can land Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team's wide receiver group would remain quite thin outside of the All-Pro pass catcher.
With a connection to the Giants through current front office executive and former New York head coach Tom Coughlin, the Jaguars could convince the Giants to part ways with up-and-coming wide receiver Sterling Shepard. Still a young receiver in the league, Shepard could become an option for Jacksonville especially if the team cannot land Brown's services — as previously stated, this group is very, very thin at the moment.

With the NFC East franchise electing to part ways with Pro Bowl safety Landon Collins, perhaps the Giants' rebuild still has a few years to go, which could involve moving Shepard.
Jacksonville makes almost too much sense for Shepard at this point in time.
Although the Jacksonville Jaguars currently remain in line to add soon-to-be free agent quarterback Nick Foles, the AFC South franchise should add yet another insurance policy just to play it safe. With quarterback Blake Bortles seemingly finished in Jacksonville, the Jaguars should attempt to acquire another veteran signal caller in Case Keenum, who currently plays for the Denver Broncos.
Because the Jaguars have been unable to find an answer under center over the years, having too many options wouldn't be a bad problem to have for once.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Broncos can afford to move on from Keenum due to the team's recent acquisition of former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, who will be taking over as the starter in Denver.
However, the one thing that may continue to stand in the way of a possible deal between the Broncos and Jaguars is Keenum's less than favorable salary for the 2019-20 campaign. As it stands today, the seasoned signal caller stands to earn $18 million next season.
