The Jacksonville Jaguars are deep into the 2022 NFL Offseason, since they missed the postseason tournament by a landslide. They have made a few moves this offseason, but not all of them are to prepare for the upcoming football season.
Chief Football Strategy Officer Tony Khan is running for Congress. NFL insider Ian Rapoport tweeted the news Thursday morning.

Rapoport included a link to the Khan's statement of candidacy, which he filed with the FEC. The Jaguars co-owner is seeking a spot in the House of Representatives to represent Florida's fourth Congressional District. He is running as a member of the Democratic Party, and designated All Elite Wrestling as his Principal Campaign Committee.
Article Continues BelowKhan is the founder, co-owner, president, and CEO of All Elite Wrestling. The business was announced on January 1 of 2019 and is owned by Khan and his father, Shahid Khan.
Before their wrestling business venture, Shahid Khan bought the Jacksonville Jaguars in July of 2012. Tony became a co-owner of the franchise with the purchase.
Khan has also been the co-owner, Vice Chairman and Director of Football Operations of Fulham F.C. since 2017.
The Florida House of Representatives primary election will be held on November 8 of this year. As for the Jaguars, their first season under new head coach Doug Pederson officially begins in September.
