Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles returned to practice on Wednesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Foles is working his way back from a broken collarbone and is still currently on injured reserve. The earliest he can return to the lineup is Week 11 when the Jaguars face the Indianapolis Colts, which is currently the plan for when he will be back on the field.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said that Foles would work with the scout team doing some 7-on-7 drills. The plan is for the team to bring him along slowly since they have a couple of weeks before he can return to a game.

″I know he’s been throwing on the side. I haven’t seen him throw,″ Marrone said, via Jon Reid of jacksonville.com. ″I just want to make sure we’re good with the reps and building it up and not trying to do too much too fast. I’ll talk to the doc, see where he’s at, making sure that we don’t want a lot of people around him. So we’ll be smart this week, and then we’ll see how it progresses. But we have a pretty good plan. We’ve got time, so we’ll just kind of gradually bring him back in there.”

Rookie Gardner Minshew will get the next two starts for the Jaguars against the New York Jets and the Houston Texans. The Jaguars haven't confirmed that once Foles is healthy that he will get the starting job back yet but all signs are pointing towards that being the case.

The Jaguars currently have a 3-4 record which sits them in third place in the AFC South.
