The Jacksonville Jaguars decided to fire Urban Meyer earlier in the week due to some controversy in the clubhouse and not performing on the football field, specifically with Josh Lambo. The Jaguars are an embarrassing 2-11 and that wasn't the worst thing that was going on in Jacksonville.
Urban Meyer reportedly kicked Josh Lambo but he denied those allegations. In an interview with Tom Pelissero, Urban had this to say,

Urban seems to believe that he did not do anything wrong in terms of that incident in the Jaguars locker room. It would be unlikely that the official news doesn't ever come out because things like that seem to spread and with how major of an issue this was, it will definitely eventually get out and everybody will know the truth.
The Jaguars are going to look to see if they can bounce back without Urban Meyer as their head coach. They're taking on the Houston Texans in Week 15 and there is a good chance that they could walk away with a victory. Perhaps not having coach Meyer there is going to help this team confidence and they're going to walk away with a victory. Sometimes all a locker room needs is a coaching shake-up so it'll be interesting to see if the Jaguars start playing better without him as the head guy.
