With an 0-3 record, poor ticket sales from the new fanbase, and a continued casualty of identity crisis, the San Diego Los Angeles Chargers are off to a bad start in their first season in La La Land, to say the least.

If that wasn't enough, the Chargers may have another PR problem at hand. On Sunday, the team's security at the StubHub Center denied “Boltman”, a life-long Chargers fan known for his eye-catching (albeit quite frightening) costume, entry into the stadium for wearing the very mask that made him a fan favorite in San Diego and a league-wide attraction.

Scott and BR of the Mighty 1090 AM radio station in San Diego shared a clip on Twitter regarding the incident:

Apparently, the StubHub Center has a policy of not allowing fans to wear masks in the venue. But, after the issue escalated up to the authorities from the Sherriff's office, Boltman was eventually granted access to the game with the fear of getting caught on tape and drawing bad press. Obviously, the fun police were a little too late to keep that from happening.

Dan Jauregi, the man behind the electric, elastic suit, went into greater detail about his experience in the Mighty 1090 AM's radio show, which can be heard on this link.
