The Los Angeles Rams made an aggressive trade before the deadline by acquiring star pass rusher Von Miller. Miller has been the franchise player for the Denver Broncos throughout his career and is a massive addition for the LA franchise.

After the acquisition, it's clear the LA franchise is going all -in to win a Super Bowl after their 7-1 start.

The Rams picked up a win against the Houston Texans on Sunday, dominating from start to finish. With the move for Miller, their pass rush and defense will be even more lethal going forward.

With that said, here are three bold predictions for Von Miller after his trade to the Rams.

Von Miller Rams Prediction

3. Von Miller leads the Rams to top defense

Last season, Sean McVay's men finished No. 1 in the league on defense. However, they have not reached the same level this 2021. The addition of Miller could take the Rams back to the top defense in the league once again.

Miller and superstar Aaron Donald create a lethal combo for offenses to block. They also have a great secondary, led by Pro Bowl corner Jalen Ramsey. With so many talented players on the defensive end and a great scheme, LA will be hard to score on.

2. He makes the Pro Bowl

Throughout his career, Miller has consistently made it to the Pro Bowl.  The eight-time Pro Bowler should have an even bigger impact with the Rams than he did with the Broncos.

During his time with the Broncos, Miller got most of the attention from offenses. On the Rams, Donald constantly gets the most attention due to his pure dominance. With that, Miller should be freed up to have one-on-one opportunities.

Look for Miller to make his ninth Pro Bowl this season as he is set up for success under McVay.

1. Miller finishes with 10-plus sacks

Von Miller has been one of the most dominant pass rushers in this generation of players. He has had seven seasons of at least 10 sacks in his career and should reach that again this 2021. So far, Miller has 4.5 sacks and will get better opportunities to pressure the quarterback with the Rams alongside Donald. He also appears to be a perfect fit in the defense as he plays on the opposite side of Leonard Floyd.

Floyd is in the midst of another great season, with 6.5 sacks on the year. With talented pass rushers in Floyd and Donald already with the Rams, offenses will have difficulty containing them with Miller.

The NFC is loaded with elite teams, including the Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Rams. These teams have been in debates regarding the favorite to win the NFC. However, after the move for Miller, McVay and Co. appear to be the favorites coming out of the NFC.

The defense was already near the top of the league, and the addition of Miller solidifies it. They also have a great offense led by Matthew Stafford, who was acquired in the offseason. The Rams have realized that their time is now to win a Super Bowl and they are making the moves to improve their chances further.

Look for Miller to have a significant impact and help the team make a deep playoff run.
