The Los Angeles Rams were wearing their bland white uniforms during their NFC Championship Game victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but for the Super Bowl in two weeks, they will be sporting quite a different look:

Let's be real: the Rams throwbacks are one of the best uniforms we have ever seen, so the fact that they will be wearing them in the Super Bowl is just awesome.

Los Angeles came away with a thrilling 26-23 overtime win over the Saints, with Greg Zuerlein booting a 57-yard field goal to send the Rams to the big game.

Sean McVay's group will take on the New England Patriots on Feb. 3, marking a rematch of the last time the Rams made it to the Super Bowl back during the 2001-02 campaign.

Of course, at that time, the Rams were in St. Louis, but the point still stands.

Because Los Angeles finished with a better record than New England this season, it will get to wear its home uniforms in two weeks.

The Rams have not won a Super Bowl since the 1999-00 campaign, when they defeated the Tennessee Titans in one of the most exciting endings in the history of the NFL.

Prior to making the playoffs last year, Los Angeles had failed to qualify for the postseason 12 years in a row and actually went without a winning season for 13 straight seasons, as the Rams were able to win the NFC West division title with an 8-8 record back in 2004.

This season, Los Angeles went 13-3.
