The Los Angeles Rams made a blockbuster trade with the Denver Broncos for Von Miller, but it looks like he's not going to make his Rams debut on Sunday night against the Tennessee Titans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.

In fact, Rapaport says there's a chance Miller doesn't even play in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers:

The star pass rusher is still recovering from an ankle injury, and Los Angeles wants to play it safe with the veteran. The Rams made the trade with the stretch run in mind and want Miller to be as healthy as possible for that. If that means him taking a little extra time to return, then so be it.

Los Angeles is currently tied with the Arizona Cardinals atop the NFC West with a 7-1 record. The team is already great without Miller, so they can certainly still have plenty of success as they wait for him to get healthy. The 32-year-old is champing at the bit to get out on the field with his new squad to wreak havoc alongside Aaron Donald, but he also knows he has to be smart about his injury.
