Free-agent star running back Todd Gurley of the Los Angeles Rams could be on his way out of the City of Angels, but this recent quote from the three-time Pro-Bowler may pique Rams fans' interest in Gurley returning in 2020.
Per Rich Hammond of The Athletic via Rams Wire:

But if we’ve got something to talk about, then we can talk. That’s kind of my perspective. Coach got my number. Coach got my number.
“Like we said, football is a business, so anything can happen, but you’ve got to understand it as a player and not take it personally,” he added. “You take it personally to a certain extent, but you also be grateful for whatever opportunity you’ve got. I know it sounds cliche, but you literally just control what you can control. As long as my teammates know who I am as a person and stuff like that, I don’t really care about what other people think. The ones that know, know. All that stuff sounds cliche, but that’s kind of how it is.”
Gurley, 25, had a polarizing 2019 campaign with the Rams. In his fifth season with the former St. Louis franchise, he rushed for just 857 yards for 12 touchdowns in 15 games. This came a year removed from back-to-back seasons with 1,200-plus yards on the ground as the Rams continue to build a pass-first offense around former first-overall pick quarterback Jared Goff.
After losing the spotlight in Los Angeles, perhaps Gurley sees his window of opportunity to leave town as a free agent.
