Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley is expected to play this Sunday against the division rival Arizona Cardinals.

Gurley has been an absolute stud this season, and that's putting it lightly. Although he has slipped up in recent weeks, it can be chalked up to injury issues recently.

The belief is that Gurley will play on Sunday, but nothing is concrete yet. If the Rams hope to get back on track and regain some ground on the New Orleans Saints, they need their All-Pro running on the field.

The former University of Georgia stud has racked up 1,251 rushing yards, 580 receiving yards, and 21 total touchdowns. Gurley has more total touchdowns than some quarterbacks have passing touchdowns, including Derek Carr, Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, and Eli Manning.

While the Rams were once the most dominant force in the league, they have struggled recently after losing to the Chicago Bears and posting a mere six points. They also lost on Sunday Night Football to the Philadelphia Eagles with backup quarterback Nick Foles under center.

Los Angeles will look to get back on track against the Cardinals ,who don't need a win at all. In fact, it would be wise for the Cardinals to tank from here on out as they have the number one pick all but locked up as long as they lose their final two games.

The Rams are in the postseason, but they still have some work to do to lock up a first-round bye and possibly home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
