Head coach Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots come up short in the Super Bowl. However, Vrabel never gave up on his team.
In the tunnel after the game, the head coach waited to embrace every player. As Vrabel continues to build his culture in New England, Patriots legend Julian Edelman is a big fan of the head coach's antics.
“Love to see it,” Edelman wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Their Super Bowl showing wasn't the Patriots' best performance. In a 29-13 loss, New England allowed six sacks and gave away three turnovers. The second of Drake Maye's interceptions was returned for a touchdown, adding insult to injury.
But for all their struggles in the championship, the Patriots looked like a vastly improved team during the 2025 campaign. They entered the season coming off back-to-back 4-13 season. Reversing the script with a 14-3 year marked the most amount of wins New England has racked up since the 2016 season.
The Patriots finished the regular season ranked third in total offense, averaging 379.4 yards per game. During the 2024 season, they ranked 31st, averaging 291.9 YPG. Obviously, a team going from fourth overall pick to the Super Bowl has become a much better team. But it shows just how far Vrabel has been able to lead his franchise in just one year.
Their Super Bowl loss will leave a sour taste in New England's mouth throughout the season. But the Patriots now know they are capable of running the AFC gauntlet. With Vrabel leading the charge, the franchise is committed to getting back to the big dance.
