Skip Bayless is the king of bad takes, and he is at it again talking about New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning's career.

Manning is going to officially announce his retirement on Friday at a press conference and most believe he will someday end up in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

After the news broke that Manning would be stepping away, Bayless broke down on Twitter why he shouldn't be a Hall of Famer. Bayless claimed that the pass to David Tyree was the “luckiest pass in NFL history.” He also pointed out that one more Tom Brady throw in the second Super Bowl would have meant Manning would have lost.

Bayless was talking up the Patriots heading into both of those Super Bowls, so it's really not a surprise that he is still hurt that he was proven wrong. The take about getting lucky and Brady needing one more throw might be true, but it's not what ended up happening.

There are many times throughout history where a player hit a late buzzer-beater that they were lucky on to win a game, or someone dropped an interception that would have sealed the game. None of those players are given an asterisk in the record books so either should this.

There is no doubt Manning had some struggles in his career, but no one can ever take away his two Super Bowl victories for the Giants. Voters will get the final say, but it's hard to imagine he won't be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
