New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been the topic of a lot of speculation this season. Will he be a Giant next season? Will he be benched this season for a younger player at the position? So far Manning has played in each game and will likely finish the season out considering he has played at an elite level over the last five weeks.

Manning started out this season on the wrong foot, plain and simple.

The two-time Super Bowl Champion has been incredibly reliable for the Giants and has helped them win four of their last five games. The Giants got a tough break against the Philadelphia Eagles back in Week 12 and lost by a field goal. Fortunately for Manning and the Giants, their offense has looked fantastic recently. Although star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. missed Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, Manning was still able to move the ball well.  Luckily rookie running back Saquon Barkley helped the offense really shine along with the solid play by the defense.

There is speculation recently that the Giants may bring Manning back as their starting quarterback next season after so many rumors saying otherwise all season. Manning has not let any of the rumors phase him, he has played his style all season and luckily it has finally shown in recent weeks. The Giants have the talent necessary for an elite offense, they need help on the offensive line and they need to sign some major help on defense next season if they hope to return to playoffs.
