The New York Giants have had experience ongoing offensive issues as the season has worn on that has had criticism primarily levied toward quarterback Eli Manning.

There has been outside chatter that only grown louder with each passing week due to his continued struggles to led the team to success. Despite that, veteran wide receiver Sterling Shepard has voiced that the team still has tremendous belief that Manning can help turn things around this season, according to Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com.

“I have total faith in Eli,” Shepard said. “I haven't heard that once in this locker room. I haven't heard that from any individual player. That's just outside noise and stuff trying to break us apart.

“We're doing a good job of keeping everything together in here. As far as in the locker room, we have total faith in him, we picked him as our starting quarterback at the beginning of the season and we're going to ride with that.”

There doesn't appear to be any drop off in confidence from the Giants that Manning still has the ability to push them forward after what has been a discouraging start to the year dropping five out of the first six games. New York has had major issues finding any fluidity offensively ranking 27th with 19.5 points per game along with being 18th in passing.

It has been a mixture of different factors that have contributed to the Giants' slow start beyond Manning's play as the team has struggled to provide him sufficient protect. There is a huge need for them to pick it up offensively if there is any hope of them pushing forward toward competing for the playoffs let alone the NFC East division title.

The Giants will have their first opportunity to push things in the right direction on Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons.
