The Dallas Cowboys finally decided to officially part ways with long-time No. 1 wide receiver Dez Bryant. Although his tenure with the Cowboys may be over, it seems he is not yet ready to depart from the NFC East.
Bryant made it clear upon his release that he still plans to see the Cowboys ‘twice a year'. Based on what he said to Mike Fisher of 247 Sports, he might be hoping it will be with the New York Giants:
He added that his fashion sense would be an added bonus in the “Big Apple”:
There is plenty of truth to the former Pro Bowlers comments. New York is poised for a solid bounce-back season with all the talent on their roster. Despite coming off a few down seasons, Bryant is still the biggest name currently on the open market. However, it remains to be seen whether or not the feeling is mutual with the Giants.
Needless to say, they have had their hands full dealing another boisterous wideout of their own in Odell Beckham Jr. Bringing in another charismatic receiver does not seem like an ideal situation for the Giants at the moment. However, the Baltimore Ravens have reportedly emerged as a serious candidate to acquire his services.
