New York Giants safety Jabrill Peppers introduced rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins to the NFL. The defensive back picked off the Washington Redskins' first-round pick in the NFC East rivals' Week 4 matchup.

The 23-year-old Peppers was acquired in the offseason from the Cleveland Browns in the Odell Beckham Jr. trade. The 5-foot-11 safety was a first-round pick of the Browns in 2017, previously attending Haskins' Big Ten rival University of Michigan. Peppers took the ball to the house, though, 32 yards for the Giants score.

Haskins, meanwhile, was picked up by Washington with the 15th overall selection in the 2019 draft, coming out of Ohio State. The rookie signal-caller did not appear in the Redskins' first three games this season, nor did he start on Sunday. Instead, Haskins took over in the second quarter against the Giants for Case Keenum.

If Haskins can work for Jay Gruden, in spite of his first career interception and pick-six, the Redskins' head coach may have a cooler seat than previously reported job status hinging upon today's outcome.
