The New York Giants currently sit at the top of the NFC East division … albeit at 4-7. Yes you read that right, the New York-based squad is winning the division three games under .500.

From now until the end of the season, every game will be critical for the Giants, who are only winning the division because of a tiebreaker over the Washington Football Team.

Their Week 13 matchup features a showdown against the Seattle Seahawks, which doesn't  bode well for the Giants. The Seahawks are 8-3 and are contenders to make the Super Bowl this year.

The Russell Wilson-led team has an insane amount of offensive firepower, so the Giants will definitely have their hands full on Sunday.

With that said, here are four bold predictions for the Giants in their upcoming contest against the Seahawks.

#1. Evan Engram will have over 100 yards receiving and a touchdown

Evan Engram is coming off his best game of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals, grabbing six passes for 129 yards. This was the first time that the speedy tight end has eclipsed the century mark this season, which is surprising considering Sterling Shepard's absence.

The Seahawks have the worst pass defense in the NFL, giving up more than 320 passing yards per game to opponents. Even though Daniel Jones will most likely be sidelined, Engram might actually see more targets on Sunday.

Backup QB Colt McCoy loves to hit his tight end, making Engram the team's number one target.

Expect Engram to have a big game, yardage wise, and even find the end zone against the Seahawks.

#2. Giants' defense will have multiple takeaways

The Giants' secondary has been a bright spot on this 4-7 football team. The offseason acquisitions of Logan Ryan and James Bradberry have proven as solid pickups, and Jabrill Peppers has continued his pro-bowl caliber play at the safety position.

Blake Martinez has also been a tackle machine for the Giants, giving them another talent to play in coverage against running backs and tight ends.

The Giants have a solid pass defense and the Seahawks are a very pass-dependent team. Russell Wilson may be put in situations where he makes a turnover-worthy play. New York, a team who is in must-win mode, is going to make those plays.

Expect the Giants to come away with multiple takeaways on Sunday.

#3. Giants will allow more than 7 sacks

The Giants have the 28th-ranked offensive line in the NFL when it comes to QB sacks per game. On average, they allow 2.8 sacks per game–something that is bound to increase after this week.

The Seattle pass rush has come alive after the acquisition of Carlos Dunlap. Since Dunlap has joined the Seahawks, they have 22 sacks in five games. They had nine sacks in their last 6 games.

Dunlap has inserted energy and force, and that has definitely shown in the sack column of the Seahawks.

With Colt McCoy under center, the Giants' offensive line won't be able to rely on the QB escapability that Daniel Jones provides. Slower reads and more time in the pocket leads to more sacks.

Expect to see Colt McCoy go down a number of times in Week 13.

#4. Graham Gano will have the most points on the team

The Giants already have trouble finding the end zone, but against a team like the Seahawks, it's unlikely they'll succeed much in the red zone.

Jamal Adams lurking in the secondary, Bobby Wagner and KJ Wright occupying the middle, and now Carlos Dunlap rushing the passer make for a very tough defense to beat within 20-yards.

Graham Gano has been solid all year, much like he usually is. The Giants will likely have to settle for field goals in order to get on the score board, so expect Gano to have a pretty big game.

For what it's worth, don't expect the Giants to get on the scoreboard very often, so saying that Gano will be the leading scorer isn't as surprising as it should be.

Play Gano in fantasy this week, he'll be the majority of the Giants' offense.

Overall

The odds look like they are stacked against the Giants in Week 13. Seattle is 8-3 and looking to take a commanding lead in the very competitive NFC West.

Russell Wilson is playing at an MVP-caliber level, DK Metcalf is going to be a matchup nightmare, and the Seahawks' defense is finally coming around.

Regardless of these obstacles, the Giants still have some bright spots. Their defense should be able to capitalize on Wilson's plays and Engram is poised to have his second consecutive big game.
