Austin Ekeler just gave the Los Angeles Chargers fans a mini heart attack with his latest troll Twitter post. He posted a video of dolphins jumping around and captioned it “Wait for it…”

Ekeler is having a great season and with only 84 attempts he has 420 yards along with five touchdowns. Losing him would be big for the Chargers but it also wouldn't make much sense as they have a chance to make the playoffs. It was clearly a troll post, but a good one at that.

Some Charger fans believe that Ekeler was hinting at a Xavien Howard trade that would bring the Dolphins star defensive back to the Chargers. As we know now, that didn't happen. Most fans knew that it was a joke and some of them told him that he can't be doing that ahead of the 4 p.m. deadline.

Ekeler and the Chargers are 4-3 this season after a tough week eight loss to the New England Patriots 28-24. Ekeler did manage to score in the contest.

The Chargers have now lost two games in a row and they will look to bounce back as they travel to Philadelphia next weekend to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ekeler meant all fun here and it was clear what he was trying to do. He might've scared a few Charger fans but it was all in a funny way to break up the tension after two tough losses
