The Seattle Seahawks haven't had the best season, as the franchise is currently struggling. With a 3-6 record, their playoff hopes are quickly dwindling. It's been so bad for this team, that DK Metcalf has acted uncharacteristically in the last few games.

We've seen Metcalf have outbursts on the field or the sideline. Which makes sense as he's struggled throughout the season as well. However, the Seahawks star receiver opens up about actions during these frustrating times.

According to Bob Condotta, the Seattle Times spoke with DK Metcalf. The wide receiver proclaimed a short, but precise answer.

“I've got to grow up.”

His ejection in the closing minutes of the Green Bay Packers game is not the only time DK Metcalf has acted out. According to the Seattle Times, “Metcalf noted he’s had ‘three outbursts' this year, presumably also meaning a taunting call against the (Indianapolis) Colts and a fine he received for tussling with Marshon Lattimore of the (New Orleans) Saints.”

It seems to be an ongoing conversation between the Seahawks star receiver and head coach Pete Carroll. Metcalf mentions how, “he's talked with Carroll, adding that ‘the conversation has always gotten better,'” per Bob Condotta.

It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the Seahawks' season plays out. Although they're unlikely to make the postseason, they could put on a little run and build their confidence for next season. DK Metcalf is just 23 years old and has plenty of time to become an even better player than he already is.

Keep an eye on Metcalf and the Seahawks, as they aim to upset their divisional rival the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
