Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love knows he has to do better after a less-than-ideal first start to his NFL career. The good thing, however, is he's not losing his confidence.

After throwing for just 190 yards on one touchdown and one interception, Love admitted he's “really disappointed” with the way he played. He was unable to get the team going offensively, as the Packers eventually succumbed to the Kansas City Chiefs 13-7.

He's no Aaron Rodgers (at least not yet), but he acknowledged he could have done better compared to what he showed during the Week 9 showdown, per Ryan Wood of Green Bay-Press Gazette. Despite his performance, though, it hasn't discouraged him at all as he remains confident he is ready to be a full-time starter.

It was undoubtedly a poor performance from Jordan Love, one which shouldn't help his case in stealing away the starting job from Rodgers or even posing a threat to the job.

However, the Packers will certainly be happy to know they have a mentally strong quarterback who doesn't give in to the pressure. It is only his first career start, and the important this is for him to improve his play when he gets his next chance.

It remains to be seen if Love will be the starter in Week 10, but given Rodgers is only set to return by November 13–a day before their showdown with the Seattle Seahawks–it's possible Matt LaFleur sticks with the 23-year-old and give him another shot to reclaim himself.
