Odell Beckham Jr. is currently a free agent, and a report earlier this week suggested his preference is to sign with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers apparently do have an offer out to Beckham, but it's for the minimum, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Silverstein notes that while the Packers' offer could go up, “they can't pay him a ton” because they haven't signed superstar wide receiver Davante Adams to an extension. Still, it seems as if there's some mutual interest here, and it makes sense to want to give Rodgers another weapon. Plus, Beckham playing alongside Adams could be helpful for him when it comes to trying to revive his career.

There are a handful of other teams that have been linked to Beckham, including the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots. A decision on his next team could be coming as soon as Wednesday, but nothing is guaranteed on that front.

Beckham is a free agent after clearing through the waiver process. He was recently released by the Cleveland Browns after things didn't work out for him there. However, at just 29 years old, there's hope he still has something left in the tank.
