Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has been in the forefront of the NFL media storm for the entirety of the offseason. So, when he misses training camp due to frostbitten feet, one could expect he'd stay there. It's a genuinely odd injury with unknown severity and time to recover.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden recently admitted his team is “gathering information” about the injury. That was two days ago. Now, he won't go into detail about what's going on with Brown. In fact, he's declined to talk about it at all since the news broke from Pro Football Talk's Chris Simms.

He last said via NBCSportsBayArea.com's Scott Blair:

“He’s [Brown] still gathering [information]. I don’t have any information other than that. . . . I’m not going to get into the exact nature of the feet. I’m just not.”

Conflicting reports have come out about Brown's feet. Whether he'll be out for an extended period of time or he won't be, most everyone is fascinated by the injury, in turn, bringing rampant speculation. But, frostbite is no joke as it can lead to amputations.

Luckily, Brown's (based on his pictures posted on Instagram) feet don't appear to be needing any major surgery — but, don't take your medical information from me, I'm not a doctor. Nonetheless, indications point to a waiting game for updates on the perennial Pro Bowler.

Luckily, HBO's “Hard Knocks” next Wednesday may give some an inside scoop on the thought process from the injury report from Brown, Raiders brass, and teammates.
