Veteran safety Eric Weddle is coming out of retirement to play for the Los Angeles Rams again. The organization signed the 37-year-old on Wednesday ahead of the playoffs after Jordan Fuller suffer a season-ending ankle injury.

As Rapoport noted, Weddle will suit up in the postseason for the Rams. He hung up the cleats in February of 2020 following a 13-year career in the NFL, playing for the Chargers, Ravens, and LA for a lone season in 2019. The former Utah standout is a six-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro as well.

He is familiar with how the Rams do things, but after two years out of the game, it's unknown what type of production he'll bring. Nevertheless, Weddle was once one of the best safeties in the league and has a ton of experience.
